The Yancey County 4-H program is hosting a community food drive to support local families who are struggling to make ends meet.
With recent changes to SNAP benefits, many households in our area are finding it harder to keep their pantries stocked. You can make a difference by donating canned goods and other non-perishable food items.
Donations can be dropped off Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Yancey County Center, located at 30 E US Hwy 19E Bypass, Burnsville, NC.
Every can and box helps feed a family right here in our community. Please join Yancey County 4-H in lending a helping hand—together, we can make sure no neighbor goes hungry!
