Did you know that North Carolina produces approximately 20% of the Real Christmas Trees in the U.S.? The main Real Christmas Tree produced in the state is the Fraser Fir. There are approximately 1,300 growers producing an estimated 40,000 acres of Fraser Fir in the state. The North Carolina Fraser fir Christmas tree is the most popular Christmas tree in North America and is shipped into every state in the U.S., the Caribbean Islands, Mexico, Canada, Bermuda, Japan and other places all over the world.
