Programs, Loans, and Grant Opportunities for Beef Producers

If you are raising beef cattle, you will not want to miss the next meeting of the Yancey County Cattleman Association as the major topic will be "funding programs, loans, and grant opportunities".
- Representatives from the Farm Service Agency (FSA) will be presenting on available programs for beef producers in Yancey and surrounding counties.
- David Davis, N.C. Cooperative Agriculture Extension Agent in Yancey County will also share about the WNC Ag Options Grant and share how this program can benefit beef producers, and he will share about the soon to be revised Yancey County Farmland Preservation Program.
- We will also have youth representatives from the Mountain Heritage FFA that will be presenting.
You do not have to be a member of the Yancey County Cattleman Association to attend or participate in this program!
