The N.C. Cooperative Extension Yancey County Center is privileged to bring the 2nd Annual Winter School.  Winter School is a program that brings farmers together to focus upon timely topics related to agriculture and horticulture in Yancey County, and Western North Carolina.  This program focuses on timely topics relevant to Yancey County farmers, but as many of these topics expand beyond the county lines, we welcome producers from surrounding counties to attend also.

About the 2022 Winter School

The 2022 Winter School sessions are planned to be conducted live and are designed to be attended in person.  Some sessions may be made available via Zoom by request.  A meal will be provided for each session.  The 2022 Winter School is provided at no cost to participants to attend thanks to the support of our local sponsors.  We have 3 sessions planned for this year's winter school.
