workshop on March 21, 2024. The workshop will be held at the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Yancey County Center, starting at 6 p.m.
In recent years, the market for Christmas trees has been quite strong, and there may be an opportunity for some farms to add Christmas tree production to their operations. In this workshop, participants will learn the basics of growing Christmas trees. Topics covered will include considerations for site selection, variety selection, pest management, disease management, marketing, and much more.
