North Carolina Cooperative Extension, Yancey County Center, is excited to welcome a new member to the 4-H team! Jazlyn Swain is the new Yancey County 4-H Program Assistant. Jazlyn is originally from Charleston, SC and has traveled throughout the United States, furthering her career. Jazlyn has 20 years of
experience in the veterinary science field, and several years in higher education. She is excited to share her knowledge and experiences with youth, educating them about animal science, leadership and several other core 4-H program areas. 4-H is open to youth ages 5-18 and is North Carolina’s largest youth development organization, providing more than 200,000 youth each year with the skills to succeed and improve the world around them. 4-H programs encourage
